Few architects have had as deep a connection with Berlin's cityscape as Hans Scharoun. Graduate and later professor at TU Berlin, member of the Ring and the Crystal Chain, student of Hans Poelzig - Scharoun's open and imaginative aesthetic gave Berliners the forms of the Philharmonic and the State Library. Tonight the Zeughauskino screens Hartmut Bitomsky's 1995 documentary "Imaginäre Architektur – Der Baumeister Hans Scharoun".
