His presentation “Compact, polycentric and sustainable” was part of international design discussions “Le Grand Pari(s) de l’agglomération parisienne” (The Great Challenge of Greater Paris), a collaboration of the Cité de l’architecture, the Alfred Herrhausen Society and the Kunstbibliothek, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin the Institut français d’Allemagne in Berlin. Particularly interesting was his repeated proposition of the city as a machine for producing random encounters between strangers.
